Along the beach, tamarisk trees provide natural shade, while beach bars, sunbeds, showers, and a lifeguard service ensure comfort and safety. Its long sandy coastline is also perfect for beach volleyball or racket games, with views of the small island of Thodorou.
Kalamaki Beach — 400 m. (5 minutes walk)
A quieter alternative just west of Glaros, with fine sand and shallow waters. It is especially popular among couples and guests looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.
The beach offers both organized sections with beach bars and open spaces for those who prefer more privacy and their own umbrella.
Agion Apostoloi Beach — 800 m. (10 minutes walk)
Agioi Apostoloi is one of the most beautiful urban beaches in Chania and a favorite among both locals and visitors.
It consists of two sheltered coves with calm, turquoise-green waters and fine sand. Between them lies a small peninsula featuring the chapel of Agioi Apostoloi and a peaceful park, ideal for seaside walks.
